Don recently spoke at an event in my city. During his presentation, he had a slide up today with some notes on it about The Magic to Close. I jotted down the steps on my notepad (empathize, isolate, tell a story, and ask for the sale) because I have been working on bringing on board another large client the past two weeks and I have struggled with the getting the MSA and contract signed.
After I left today I had a short walk to my next meeting and within that 7 minute walk I drafted up a quick text to the COO of that organization while using some of Don’s notes above around empathizing and isolating. After that 7 minute walk to my next meeting I checked my email inbox and had a signed MSA and contract with this client.
